Description
Medieval Denier of Sigismund, King of Hungary.
The obverse features a long double cross without an inner circle. Obverse legend: MOn·SIG ISMVnDI, translating to “Money of Zsigmond.”
The reverse shows a fourfold shield of Hungary, with the Árpád stripes appearing twice and Brandenburg eagles twice, without an inner pearl circle. Reverse legend: +REGIS·VNGARIE ETC·, translating to “King of Hungary and so on.”
